What’s New in LeanView

What’s New with the Latest LeanView Release
The latest release of LeanView is 100% .NET driven, runs on all Microsoft® supported platforms (including Windows 7) and includes additional functionality.

The latest release of LeanView includes the following functionalities:

  • Automated Timeline
The automated timeline is automatically drawn upon the completion of the value stream recording and displays the value added and non-value added time in the stream.
  • Delays Report
The delays report summarizes information about the delays within a value stream. The report provides a comparison of delay and flow time. The delay time can be by the activity and the type of delay.
  • New Shape Data Displays
The new shape data displays expands LeanView’s ablility to display shape information on the value stream and incorporates new displays for process shapes that can be edited using Visio Data Graphics functionality. Now, the contents of the shape data display can be customized to remove unwanted items or to change the order of presentation.
  • Station Takt Time
The station takt time enhances the capabilities of the takt time already provided in earlier releases of LeanView. The takt time for a LeanView value stream is automatically calculated based on the demand information defined in the LeanView map properties dialog. The station takt time provides the ability to use a different takt time for analysis purposes and can be used in lieu of the default takt time value.
